Printables

These tools make a ready-to-print sheet and hand it to you as a PDF. You choose the paper size, the margins and the spacing, and the page on screen is drawn from the same numbers as the file you print. Lines are real vector lines at the spacing you pick, so a quarter inch square measures a quarter inch on the paper when you print at 100 percent.

Which printable do I need?

For squares, dots or triangles to draw, plot or design on, use Graph Paper. For writing lines, from wide ruled school sheets to handwriting practice rows, use Lined Paper. Both print on Letter, A4, Legal, A3 or a custom size, with margins you set.

How do I print at the true size?

Open the PDF and print with the scale set to 100 percent, also called Actual size. Do not choose Fit to page or Shrink to fit, because those change the spacing. Print one page first and measure it with a ruler to be sure.

Are the files vector or pictures?

The PDF is vector. Each line is a drawing instruction at a position measured in points, so it stays sharp at any zoom and at any printer resolution. The PNG is a picture at 300 dpi, handy for putting a sheet in a slide or a note-taking app.

Does anything get uploaded?

No. The sheet is drawn and saved inside your browser, and your last settings are remembered on your own device only. Nothing you choose is sent to a server, so the tools also work after the page has loaded and you go offline.
